Those who love man music (think Flipper, Fear, Cro-Mags, Gang Green) have a proud standard-bearer in Allentown, PA's Pissed Jeans. Purveyors of ugly, lurching, sweaty mancore, the Jeans do it right, and have been doing it right for four albums now for Sub Pop. If it makes you feel unclean and grouchy, that means they're doing their job, and this album seems sure to get them that big promotion. Fearsomely itchy, snaggletoothed shoutalongs like "Bathroom Laughter" and "Cafeteria Food" sound like human evolution is going in reverse, at breakneck speed. Even the guitars sound like they're falling apart. If you need a dose of hellacious fuzz and snarl, look no further than the urine-soaked crotch of these jeans!
