Garfunkel and Oates are an LA-based musical comedy duo comprised of actresses/songwriters Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel) and Kate Micucci (Oates). Described by the Wall Street Journal as the "Female Flight of the Conchords," Garfunkel and Oates create satirical folk songs covering topics like same sex marriage ("Sex With Ducks"), gently telling a guy they aren't interested ("I Would Never [Have Sex With You]"), and the joys of pregnancy ("Pregnant Women Are Smug").

Garfunkel and Oates met in 2007 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles where they were introduced to one another by comic Doug Benson. Soon after meeting, they began working together on a short musical film called Imaginary Larry. In addition to playing the comedy circuit, they’ve appeared on The Independent Spirit Awards, Raising Hope, Scrubs, Last House on the Left, Bored to Death, The Big Bang Theory, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Attack of the Show and Last Call with Carson Daily. Their first EP, Music Songs, was self-released in August 2009, followed by All Over Your Face on No One Buys Records in 2011. Garfunkel and Oates latest album Slippery When Moist (No One Buys Records) was released in February 2012. The duo have also been named one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch and on June 8, 2012, Comedy Central featured them in an episode of The Half Hour.
