Daniel Barassi is one of those people in Los Angeles that you don't know, but you have heard his work for years. He has done exclusive mixes, IDs and other radio imaging that has played on many L.A. radio stations, including KROQ, MARS FM, Groove Radio and KCRW. His latest work can be heard every Sunday on both KLOS-FM in Los Angeles and Sirius/XM, as Daniel created the intro for Chris Carter's "Breakfast With The Beatles" show (as well as special mixes that are occasionally played during the show). In the mid 1990s, Daniel started putting his productions online and BRAT Productions has been the home to his DJ sets, edits, officially released mixes and mashups ever since. The site also used to host a small Depeche Mode fan site Daniel created until he started officially running Depeche Mode's online presence back in 1998 (and still does, 14 years later). Daniel hits Amoeba at least once a week, and spends at least an hour digging for new songs for his future mixes.
