Gustav Mahler

 

Gustav Mahler was born on July 7th 1860 in Kalischt Bohemia now in the Czech Republic and died on May 18th 1911 in Vienna. Mahler has a double place in musical history as one of the greatest conductors we know of and a great composer, the last of the great Austro-German symphonists.
