Canned Heat

Canned Heat is one of the most famous blues rock bands from the 60's. They managed to maintain a sense of authenticity far above their peers, due in large part to the musical savvy of group founders Bob Hite and Alan Wilson, who were both historians of the blues genre as well as avid collectors of 78s. Hite would host, while still a teen, meetings of record collectors at his Topanga Canyon home.
