It would be relatively easy to demonize The Eagles, given the presumed audience for this website. It is easy to demonize The Eagles. The revisionist, post-indierock examination of their place in music history is relatively clinical and somewhat brutal, and it goes like this: Gram Parsons, with considerable input (and a massive amount of karmic ballast) from Chris Hillman, injects country music into The Byrds.
