Lena Dunham is a writer, director, producer and actress who came to prominence with her 2010 film, Tiny Furniture. The native New Yorker, whose parents are both artists, got her start making YouTube videos and has emerged as a major talent with the success of her semi-autobiographical film debut. Dunham received the 2010 LA Film Critics Association New Generation Award, an Independent Spirit Award for “Best First Screenplay,” “Best Narrative Feature” at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival, and Tiny Furniture was released by The Criterion Collection. Her writing has also been featured in The Onion and The AV Club and Dunham has created two web series entitled Tiger Shots and Delusional Downtown Divas.
Dunham is starring in the new HBO comedy, GIRLS, which she created, wrote, stars in, directs and executive produces. GIRLS, premiering April 15, takes a comedic and uncensored look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of four Brooklyn women in their 20s.

Arfin currently works as staff writer on the HBO series GIRLS, with friend and creator Lena Dunham and producer Judd Apatow.
