Jonathan Davis is the frontman of Korn as well as a solo artist. His music career began in 1993 when he was asked to join the band that would take nu metal to the mainstream. Davis designed the group's iconic logo. The band released their self-titled debut in 1994 and immediately began attracting attention; the album peaked at #1 on the Heatseekers chart and held on to #72 on the Billboard Top 200. Korn's second LP, Life Is Peachy, debuted at #3 on the Top 200 and was certified platinum. Their third album, Follow the Leader, and fourth album, Issues, both debuted at #1. With nearly every album in their twenty-five-year career, the band has had a chart-topping hit. Korn has also steadily racked up a string of Grammy awards and nods from the likes of Kerrang! and MTV.
In 2007, Davis started working on solo material. He formed the group Jonathan Davis and the SFA, touring Europe and North America and releasing Alone I Play. Ten years later, he announced a series of solo dates under his own name and released his first solo single, "What It Is." A full-length, Black Labyrinth, was released in spring 2018 via Sumerian Records. Davis also performs EDM music under the moniker JDevil. He has made appearances on South Park, Queen of the Damned, and Monk and has been featured in music videos for Limp Bizkit and Infected Mushroom.
