The Brooklyn-based collaborative known as Dark Tea has released its second self-titled work, once again spearheaded by singer/guitarist Gary Canino. Also featuring Sasha Shroud and Matt Barrick (The Walkmen, Muzz) among others, Dark Tea II is sleepy-eyed indie rock and Americana, with plenty of jangly rhythm guitar and clean, country lead guitar noodling. The moody waltz “Take The Fall” is a highlight with trebly guitar and strings dancing around Canino's low voice.
