On Saturday, November 13, Amoeba Hollywood is unveiling a recently acquired one-of-a-kind record collection from Rick Frystak, a longtime music collection buyer for Amoeba, musician, published writer, and music industry veteran. This collection is for the true music junkie, filled with obscure records not seen for sale in many years, if ever! It will be available for one day only, so don't miss it!

This collection was born of curiosity and eccentric taste and features thousands of records purchased between the 1960s and the present. It encompasses one person's journey into the world of sound, wtih genres including post-bop jazz, free jazz, improv, jazz fusion, 20th century classical, academic electronic, solo guitar music of all categories, documentary sounds, DIY new age, late '70s/early '80s industrial and experimental, Brazilian & other international gems (including field recordings), and reggae/dub. Also included in this collection are rare Japanese pressings of many genres.

You can find this collection on the Amoeba Hollywood stage starting at 11am on Saturday, November 13th. These titles will be available in-store only. No holds or phone orders.
