Everything Was Beautiful, And Nothing Hurt (LP)
Moby
Amoeba Review
09/07/2020
With fifteen studio albums behind him, Moby continues to innovate and inspire on his latest, Everything Was Beautiful & Nothing Hurt. Sure, the “inspire” part may look a little bit more like going vegan and phoning your reps in Washington than pop music’s usual sunshine and rainbows — but it’s that kind of album. The songs are vulnerable, fragile, and beautiful. There is so much unfairness and unkindness in this world, Moby seems to say, so let’s join hands and work together to make change.
