Sorceress Sabbath, Witchcraft Film Festival in SF, 10/19

The Super Shangri-La Show (creators of the fringe film events Bigfoot Bonanza and The Space Visitors Film Festival) bring back Sorceress Sabbath, Witchcraft Film Festival -- a full day of witchcraft-themed films at San Francisco's historic and haunted Balboa Theater -- on Saturday, October 19th! See seven films dealing in the dark arts, as well as special guest speaker Maja D'Aoust! Maja is an author, artist, practicing witch, and founder of the educational non-profit The Well Wishers, which focuses on teaching wellness and esoteric sciences to the community.

Here's the bewitching schedule for the day:

There have been many songs and movies about the Nazarite stud-muffin and that saucy, seductive gal from Sorek. Popular groups whose music makes my ears cringe like...uggg...Queen, Grateful Dead, and The Cranberries have all sung about the famous story of romance and betrayal. Me, I'd rather put a quarter in the jukebox for Nat King Cole's "Song of Delilah" or Tom Jones' 1967 hit, "Delilah" (which has stabbing murder lyrics like a Johnny Cash song).



On the tropical isle of Jamaica, Eric "Monty" Morris and other early ska musicians recorded songs in the '60s about the Biblical dysfunctional duo too.

The Super Shangri-La Show, the mysterious entity that brought you the hit fringe film events Bigfoot Bonanza and The Space Visitors Film Festival, presents Sorceress Sabbath, Witchcraft Film Festival -- a whole day and evening of witchcraft films at San Francisco's haunted Balboa Theater on Saturday, October 13th! See nine films dealing in the dark arts, as well as special guest speaker author Maja D'Aoust and a burlesque performance from The Devil's Debutante, Szandora LaVey. Additionally, cosmic artist Rocky Angel will be on site providing magical face painting!

Bigfoot Bonanza

Are you interested in the Unknown (with a capital U, of course)? Have you ever felt like there's more to American Bigfootthis world than meets the third eye? Fancy yourself an amateur cryptozoologist? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to join Amoeba Music at the Super Shangri-La Show's second annual Bigfoot Bonanza festival, happening March 10th & 11th at the Vogue Theater in San Francisco.

Spend two days running wild among Bigfoot-themed cult classics, documentaries, and TV shows, and listening to talks from some of the top specialists in the field, including Loren Coleman, Seth Breedlove of Small Town Monsters, Peter Von Puttkamer (Sasquatch Odyssey: The Hunt for Bigfoot), Daniel Perez of the Bigfoot Times, and Matt Ralston of Cryptozoologist.

From the illustrious minds who brought you Super Shangri-La Show's Bigfoot Bonanza comes Super Space Visitors Film FestShangri-La Show's Space Visitors Film Festival, which descends upon San Francisco's Balboa Theatre on Saturday, October 21st! Prepare for 16 hours of alien excitement in the form of movies, documentaries, TV shows, and special guest speakers including filmmaker and curator Jodi Wille with members of the Unarius Academy of Science, Ruben Uriarte of MUFON (Mutual UFO Network), and more.
