The Wild Reeds

LA's own The Wild Reeds are a five-piece band who have evolved their traditional and ethereal folk sound into an Americana force of harmonies and rhythm. The band released their formal debut album Blind and Brave in August 2014, produced by Raymond Richards at Red Rockets Glare Studios. In the past year, they've toured alongside artists such as Noah Gundersen and Israel Nash. They also made appearances at Way Over Yonder Festival, Make Music Pasadena, Echo Park Rising, Claremont Folk Festival, and Lightning in a Bottle.

They're making their way across the country now for the Americana Music Awards showcase in Nashville, TN on September 17th. They'll be back in Los Angeles to support The Bluegrass Situation at The Greek Theater on October 4th and are playing a show at One Colorado in Pasadena on October 10th. Keep an eye on their website for other upcoming shows.

In celebration of the recent LP release of Blind and Brave, The Wild Reeds visited Amoeba Hollywood for a live set and signing. Their fans came out to support the release and some new fans emerged after the band's in-store performance.
