Sune Rose Wagner is half of the Danish rock duo The Raveonettes. Wagner and Sharin Foo met in Copenhagen and began recording together in 2001. Combining two-part vocal harmonies with electric instrumentation, The Raveonettes draw upon the sounds of their '50s and '60s influences (like The Ronettes and Buddy Holly), as well as their modern rock influences (like the Velvet Underground). They released their first full-length album, Chain Gang of Love (Sony), in 2003. Their sophomore album, Pretty In Black (Columbia, 2005), featured Ronnie Spector (The Ronettes) and Maureen Tucker (Velvet Underground). They are releasing their fourth studio album, In & Out of Control (Vice), on October 6, 2009.
