Condition/Grading
New product will be in mint condition. Domestic releases will be factory sealed, many import releases will not.
Used CDs will be priced to reflect their condition. A CD that has condition issues will be noted in further communication with you!
Amoeba grades our vinyl very conservatively to prevent misinterpretations. If anything below a certain grading level is unacceptable to you, let us know and we’ll restrict our search to items that meet your criteria. Anything you do receive from us is guaranteed to play free of significant audible defects.
How do I get my stuff?
Amoeba will send your stuff via the U.S. Postal Service, either by media mail (slower & cheaper) or priority (quicker and pricier). In general, media mail is delivered within 1-4 weeks. Priority mail is often delivered within 2-4 days.
How often do you ship?
In most instances, we will ship your purchase within 24 hours.
How long will it take to find out if you have my request?
We’ll start looking for your request immediately. You should receive a response within 24 hours.
What’s your return policy?
If your purchase from Amoeba is defective, send it back for a full refund (including your shipping costs).
How can I pay?
Money order, credit card (Mastercard, Visa or Discover). Sorry, we do not take American Express.
How often can I submit a request?
As often as you want. Amoeba inventory changes everyday. You’re welcome to check back whenever you like.
What does "out of print" mean?
Out-of-print means that the item is no longer being manufactured and is unavailable for order. We often see copies traded in on a used basis but there is no assurance that we will have it or be able to get it.
What’s the difference between "new" and "used"?
A new item is in its original packaging, including any shrinkwrap. It has never been opened or listened to. These are items that we have received directly from a distributor.
Used product has often, but not always, been opened and handled by someone before you. Used items are bought from customers and sometimes there will be visible marks/scratches on the used stuff that we sell. Amoeba does take the condition of the piece into account when pricing it and we guarantee all items against defects.
