On Saturday, April 21st 2012, hundreds of independently owned music stores across the world will simultaneously unite with the purpose of celebrating culture and the unique place that they occupy both in their local communities and the world.

	1PM Brendan Canning [DJ Set] The new Cookie Duster album, When Flying Was Easy, from Brendan Canning (Broken Social Scene), Bernard Maiezza, Jeen O'Brien, Damon Richardson, comes out May 15th. Their first official release is their RSD 7" Two Feet Stand Up, a no-nonsense, straight ahead guitar-driven pop song backed with "When Flying Was Easy."

	3PM ††† [DJ Set] ††† (Crosses) are Chino Moreno (Deftones), Shaun Lopez (Far) & Chuck Doom from Los Angeles, CA. On RSD, the band is releasing a limited 7" Double A-Side, their first ever 7" piece. The 7" features one song from each of the band's two EP's released to date, namely "Op†ion" from EP † and "†elepa†hy" from EP ††.

	5PM Macy Gray - CANCELED Due to travel changes, Macy Gray will not be able to be here - but she wishes everyone a Happy Record Store Day.

	6-8PM David Lynch Foundation (happening at Space15 Twenty) David Lynch Foundation & Amoeba Music celebrate Music That Changes The World With a Record Store Day Party! Live Performances from Ben Lee, Geeta Novotny & Phil Soussan. Plus Guest DJs Gary Calamar (89.9 KCRW) Mimi Chen (100.3 The Sound). There will be coffee drinks courtesy of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and a RSD photo booth. (donations to the David Lynch Foundation and appreciated and encouraged)! Music That Changes The World is a special limited-edition box set release - available on RSD at Amoeba. This four-volume vinyl collection featues exclusive tracks by artists such as Donovan, Iggy Pop, Peter Gabriel, Moby, Maroon 5, Ozomatli and more. Proceeds from the box set benefit the David Lynch Foundation. This event is open to the public, but space is limited. Wristbands will be available at Space15Twenty at 5pm on 4/21 - while they last! 1520 North Cahuenga Blvd in Hollywood.
