Now That April's Here
John Bath
Amoeba Review
10/18/2012
If you like your soundtracks heavily arranged to match the emotional scenes in classic black and white films, then here's your next musical stop. John Bath composed and arranged these pieces as a soundtrack to a 1959 Canadian film detailing four failed(?) relationships. Each piece is emotionally charged; brought along with accomplished stringed arrangements and playing that succeed in creating an equally romantic and somewhat doomed musical atmosphere.
