After a wonderful set of covers (More of the Past), San Francisco folk-rock ensemble Vetiver is back to playing Andy Cabic's luminous, gently unfurling originals. With some of the spiritual bounce of a George Harrison groover and some of the ethereal beauty of a Gene Clark heartbreak ballad, Cabic sails this ship on an even keel through lovely seascapes into uncharted waters.
