Wow, in this postmodern age, I can’t believe I actually like a band that writes pop songs...but I do. Kinda like the Band, the Beach Boys, and the Beatles, a little bit like the Lilys and Olivia Tremor Control, but mostly just exactly like Dr. Dog. - Michael Henning
This is a great album from a very surprising band. They’re very loose, but have great catchy songs. They’re like a weird cross between Wilco, The Band, and the Beach Boys. They put their hearts into their vocals, and their melodies and arrangements are wonderful. I like this whole album. - Joe Goldmark
These guys write fun pop songs and sound kind of like The Beatles or The Kinks...except not British.
