One of the great movers and shakers in New Orleans music, Toussaint is a legendary songwriter, singer, pianist, and all-around impresario who’s worked with everyone from Dr. John to Little Feat to Paul Simon.  This is an excellent reissue of his 1975 classic, a lazy gumbo of country and blues grooves whose title track was later a hit for Glen Campbell.  Drift away on these smoky, soulful tunes.
