	People Under The Stairs Stepfather (Basement Records)

This Los Angeles hip-hop duo featuring Thes One and Double K have released a string of consistently solid albums and "Stepfather" is no exception. To borrow the name of one of their tracks, these guys write a letter to the old-school, while crafting a fresh, modern sound. On this disc, the duo even adds live guitars and bass to their instrumentation.
