Finally available on DVD – it’s a rare TV special with two live performances: A Token of His Extreme, shot in 1974 at LA’s public TV station KCET and one in 1981 at his annual New York Halloween show (plus claymation from Bruce Bickford and assorted comedy bits). It’s a great glimpse into Zappa’s boundary-defying life and music.
