	Cat Power The Greatest (Matador)

Chan Marshall went to Memphis to record this with some Southern soul musicians, and the results are staggering. The vocals and accompaniment blend so seamlessly and comfortably. This is the first Cat Power CD that I heard, mostly because for some reason I was duped into thinking it was a Greatest Hits. But, it felt like one anyway.
