Broken Social Scene corral huge choruses, epic symphonic arrangements, a sensitive feel for detail, and a really cool band name... toss it all up in the air... and come off sounding completely improvised. I can't tell if there are two people in this group or 22... but, regardless, it is one of the most compelling experiments going on in indie rock now.
