Possibly the most notable debut of any indie rock act to step out in 2006. It's rock. And, it's country. It's a little My Morning Jacket, Built to Spill and Neil Young. These guys aren't re-inventing the wheel... but their plaintive songs perfectly utilize their array of musical influences. - JD
