           Trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Wynton Marsalis is probably the most well-known living jazz musician in America. Among his many honors is the 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Music, awarded for his oratorio Blood on the Fields, and the first for a jazz recording.
