               Rock group Marillion formed in Aylesbury, England in 1979. In the early 1980s, Marillion were among the leaders of a Neo-Progressive Rock movement that included Asia, the Phil Collins-led Genesis and a retooled Yes. With original lead singer Fish, the band opened the door for a new generation of pro rockers such as iQ, Pendragon and Jadis.
