Here's another forgotten private press album from the American Southwest. Recorded in Arizona in the mid 1970s, Mason Bricke is shaped by killer pedal steel guitarist, Gary Morse, multi-instrumentalist, Peter Masi, and the vocals of Country diva, Donna Brickie. There's some cringy moments for sure ("Berkeley Woman", "NYC Blues") but the album has an appealing and genuine rural electric-countrified vibe throughout; especially on the tracks with the superb Gary Morse on pedal steel. 70s Country AM Radio fans take note.
