Great live performance from pianist and composer Mary Lou Williams and her band. Truly outstanding playing from all involved. Ms. Williams' arrangements and lead showcase the best of the talent around her. Don Byas (who would have turned 100 this year!) is a star on sax. The interplay between all players is understated but SO accomplished; listen to the samples on "Jgon Mili Jam Session" and "Star Dust". Great introduction to an underrated star in the Jazz galaxy.
