Amoeba Hollywood - February 28th @ 8:00pm
Amoeba Hollywood hosts our guest DJ series, ROTATIONS, every Friday night!
LA based Photocall stepped onto the scene in 2004 with their self-released (and now cult classic) 'Silver Clouds.' Heavily influenced by I-F's Cybernetic Broadcasting System, the vocoder laced electro jammer was then licensed to Clone and was joined by a remix from Dexter. In the years that followed, Photocall producer Eli Epstein released several edits such as his edit of Eurofunk's 'Manshortage' for Morgan Geist's 'Unclassics' series and an edit for RVNG with friend Lovefingers, while singer Terryn Westbrook focused on her acting career. More recently Photocall remixed Matthew Dear's 'You Put a Smell On Me' for Ghostly International, and self released the fantasy disco single, 'Flying Tiger of Love.' Eli also runs The Escape Pod, a private electronic music studio in LA, and stays busy mixing records for various clients, most recently Sfire's new single on Germany's CockTail d'Amour label.
