Join Amoeba's Mandala DJ series for a special evening of world psych with local experts Special Lord B. and DJ Sid Presley, the mastermind behind Let’s A Go-go! Singapore And Southeast Asian Pop Scene 1964-69.

DJ Sid Presley is a local record collector specializing in 1960’s South East Asian vinyl. He recently compiled tracks for Let’s A Go-go! Singapore And Southeast Asian Pop Scene 1964-69. A punk rock promoter in a former life, he was credited by the Palm Beach Post in 1986 for creating the first hardcore hall show in West Palm Beach. He went on to promote pub shows in Atlanta in the late '80s, helping to start the careers of bands like The Black Crowes and The Indigo Girls.  Having settled in the Bay Area in 1996, he enjoys photography, his family, and a good Woody Allen movie.

Special Lord B. (A.k.a DJ Paul Paul) is a founding member of the six-years-strong award-winning Saturday Night Soul Party! He also started the International Freakout A Go-Go! -- an underground members-only club that specializes in vintage soul, funk, rock, pop, and psych from all around the world. Other club nights he has created include Girl Groups Night, Intensified, Dangerzone, and Basstown.  He is also a touring musician, playing in bands such as Death Sentence: Panda! and Total Shutdown, and runs a record label called Special Lord Records. He loves dolphins.
