Amoeba's Mandala DJ Series and DJ Quest are proud to present The DJ Project, featuring the Horizons Unlimited DJ Project and the Quest School of DJ Arts Youth DJs, including DJ Baysik, DJ Trainn, Florent, Jorge, Quique, Danny, DJ Three-D, Gio, Alejandro, and more! The DJ Project is an arts entrepreneurship program built on a hip-hop foundation. It uses music to engage young adults, giving them opportunities to develop in a context familiar to them. Through small business management, audio and video production, job readiness training and community service, The DJ Project model is a creative learning experience for the hip-hop generation.

Horizons Unlimited of San Francisco is a community-based organization located in the Mission District that offers culturally and linguistically competent comprehensive substance abuse prevention, substance abuse treatment, employment and entrepreneurial services, in both English and Spanish, for the diverse population of the city and county of San Francisco. Horizons was founded by a small group of community individuals to provide employment and education opportunities for its target population. Prevention, treatment and youth specific employment programs were added, to its menu of program offerings, to respond to the growing and changing needs of our community. We began to offer substance abuse prevention services in 1985, substance abuse treatment services in 1985, youth specific employment services in 1990, gender specific violence prevention in 1999, and entrepreneurial services in 2000.
