April 28th, 2007 - San Francisco

Capping off a watershed year for the Bay Area band Blame Sally is the November release of their third album, Severland. Highlights of Blame Sally's 2006 performances include sponsored showcases at the International Folk Alliance in Austin, a successful tour of the Rocky Mountain states, and the world-renowned Strawberry Music Festival. The band opened the festival's Saturday program on the main stage, where they received standing ovations and an encore from the sold-out crowd.

Blame Sally is: Pam Delgado, Renee Harcourt, Jeri Jones and Monica Pasqual. These four accomplished instrumentalist/singers combine their strikingly different approaches to create a distinct and beautiful sound that's been described as emotionally charged, highly melodic, and compelling. The San Francisco Chronicle called Blame Sally's self-produced/self released second album "intelligently emotional, intricately harmonized folk-pop" with "imaginatively arranged, expansive narrative songs."

Neil Young's Living With War website (www.neilyoung.com) features the Blame Sally music video "If You Tell a Lie" at #2 and rising among videos by Pink, Pearl Jam, Kris Kristofferson, Steve Earle and many more. San Francisco's KFOG selected tracks from both previous Blame Sally CDs to appear on its 2003 and 2004 compilations alongside tracks by Paul Simon, Spearhead, Jackie Greene, The Waifs, Dar Williams, and more.
