As always, Amoeba will match your individual donations up to $1,000!


This month all proceeds benefit The Pepper Foundation, a Non-Profit Animal Rescue Organization that rescues mostly special needs and senior animals from high kill shelters and gets the animals rehabilitated and adopted into loving homes. We believe that every animal has the right to a second chance!

About Amoeba Charity Auctions:
In early September 2005 , Amoeba Hollywood began hosting Amoeba Auctions, an on-going weekly auction to help raise money for the Gulf Coast Relief Efforts post-Katrina. The first Saturday of the month, our Hollywood store continues to auction off  items which include memorabilia, collectables, promotional items, concert tickets, plus much, much more to raise money for worthy charities. To help increase the funds, Amoeba matches all individual donations and accepted bids up to $1,000.

Auctions have included everything from Slayer promotional underwear, Michael Jackson puffy stickers and Devo hats (with winning bids of $5 - $20) to Brian Wilson box seats for the Hollywood Bowl which went for $550, a signed Flea Bass Guitar for $600 and a pair of tickets to the sold-out Supergrass show for $200 along with gift certificates from generous neighbors (Trader Joe's, Laemmle Theaters, Arclight, Intelligensia Coffee and more!). With Amoeba matching all the bids, each item brings in double the money!

Amoeba Auctions accepts cash, credit cards and checks made out directly to any one of the organizations we support. Since 2005 we have raised more than $300,000 for various charities through our charity auctions, on-site customer donations, matching Amoeba contributions and special events!
