Kutmah (pronounced: KOOT-MAH) was born and raised in Brighton, England. His art career began at a very young age, rendering nude women from a 70's sex reproduction book he stole at the school library. At age 12, he moved to Hollywood, California and continued drawing women, but mostly the prostitutes he would see from his apartment window.
For the last couple of years, he's been selling large scale nude wood burns and has done a couple album covers including his own 10" record "Warm Like The Sunshine" filled with desert sounds and dirty beats. If in Los Angeles, please keep your ears open for his DJ sets, he's known to play the dirtiest beats in town.

Based in Los Angeles, Take is a composer who continues to push the boundaries of instrumental Hip Hop/Electronic Beat music into new directions. After multiple successful EP's and a full length under his belt, Take is set to unleash a slew of new works and remixes in 2009.
Take has long been at the center of an ever growing scene of talented musicians/producer/djs in the Los Angeles area. As a co-founder of the legendary beat showcase night "Sketchbook", he has fine crafted his dj sets for the last 10 years and also adapted his own compositions for live performance. Make sure to catch his live sets!
This music is nothing short of an epic journey with continuously evolving collages that lead the listener down a dust covered road of bit-crushed melodies and molested jazz samples and over walls of bass. Takes music is coated in emotion and rich in the complexity of its layers. The 30 year old multi-instrumentalist/dj/producer describes his music as "Rooted in Hip Hop but on a space ship headed for a new and better place... somewhere out there."
