On June 22, legendary Japanese heavies BORIS will play an exclusive after-hours show at Amoeba Berkeley in celebration of their new release Smile! For this EPIC event, Amoeba Berkeley will actually be closing its doors early, teaming up with Southern Lord Records to host a private after-hours show with BORIS.

The only way into this VIP event is to pick up a copy of their new release, Smile at Amoeba Berkeley starting Tuesday, April 29th and receive a special wristband for access to this soon-to-be historic show. Access to the show is very limited, so get your wristband early to ensure your entrance!

A three-time Emmy Award-winner for his production design on Pee-wee's Playhouse and the recipient of the 2000 Chrysler Award for Design Excellence, artist Gary Panter has drawn inspiration from diverse arenas over the past four decades. Closely associated with the underground comics and music scenes on both coasts, he is responsible for designing many record covers for Frank Zappa, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Residents. Plus, he is a musician too! Gary will be performing live and signing copies of his new book.
