Insane Clown Posse - Biography
Insane Clown Posse is a horrorcore rap duo from Detroit consisting of Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler, who perform under the names Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. Known for their dark clown makeup and violent, sometimes supernatural imagery, the group has earned two platinum and five gold albums, produced and starred in two feature films and founded their own record label, Psychopathic Records. With a background in both amateur and professional wrestling, the duo have also founded their own professional federation, Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
ICP are well known for their elaborate live shows, which feature copious use of the soda Faygo, dancing clowns, and intricate backdrops. The duo are currently touring the country, with their four day Gathering of the Juggalos festival returning in July. They have two forthcoming albums, The Missing Link: Lost and The Missing Link: Found, the first of which will be released via Psychopathic Records this spring.
