Joe Hill Louis was a one-man Blues band with an ahead-of-his-time vibe and sound. A session musician, his sound pre-dated and blazed the trail for other electric Blues players that flourished and help take the genre into the fruitful 1960s and 70s. Louis' voice is his best instrument but his harmonica playing is on equal par; as heard on this two sides that date back to the early 50s. Check out this important transitional figure in Blues history.
