Accepting toys for FIVE ACRES through 12/21

Five Acres works to prevent child abuse and neglect, care for, treat and educate emotionally disturbed, abused and neglected children and their families in residential and outreach programs throughout LA and surrounding areas.

Accepting new, unwrapped toys for children ages 7 – teenager (no violent or weapon-based toys, please).

Accepting donated toys for A SAFE PLACE through 12/17.

A Safe Place is Oakland’s only comprehensive domestic violence program for battered women and children.  The agency offers a comprehensive program that provides both shelter and professional supportive. It is a refuge for the women and children they serve and provides services that include professional individual and peer group counseling, as well as advocacy and other professional supportive services.

Accepting new, unwrapped toys for children – from toddlers to teens (no violent or weapon-based toys, please).

Accepting toys for COMPASS COMMUNITY SERVICES through 12/17.

Compass Community Services provides the tools low-income and homeless families need to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Compass gives a leg up – not just a handout and functions as the extended family many low-income families lack.

Accepting new, unwrapped toys, canned goods, and new clothing.  Toys for all ages of children and clothing for infants and toddlers are especially needed.
