Accepting toys for Five Acres 11/25 through 12/18

Five Acres works to prevent child abuse and neglect, care for, treat and educate emotionally disturbed, abused and neglected children and their families in residential and outreach programs throughout LA and surrounding areas.

Accepting new, unwrapped toys for children ages 7 – teenager (no violent or weapon-based toys, please). As a thank you for your generosity, Amoeba will give you  a $2 off coupon! Bring your toy to the info counter to receive your coupon*

Accepting donated toys for Bay Area Crisis Nursery 11/25 through 12/10.

The Bay Area Crisis Nursery helps to prevent abuse and neglect of children by providing free support to families who are in stress or crisis. Their primary service is providing a warm, loving, homelike environment for children birth through eleven years of age by offering 24 hour residential care.

Amoeba Music Berkeley joins forces with the Bay Area Crisis Nursery to collect new, unwrapped, non-violent toys, representative of all races, ethnicities and cultures for families in need this holiday season. Gifts for ages newborn to teens welcome! Everyone who donates will receive a $5 Amoeba coupon as our thank you!

Accepting food for the San Francisco Food Bank 11/25 through 12/27.

The San Francisco and Marin Food Banks supply food to 450+ local non-profit organizations that serve thousands of families, seniors, children and individuals. When you run a holiday drive, you give food--the perfect gift-- to over 225,000 people in our community who live with the daily threat of hunger.
