With lyrics like "He took all his dreams wrapped up in gabardine that he found in his grandpa's truck ...", you really can't go wrong. This early 70s private press album straight out of Odessa, Texas is real mix of styles - Soft Rock, "Hair"-esque Musical vocals, Christian Country and some heavy Psych touches. At times, the over-the-top vocals make you recoil a bit but there's a twisted Texas soul on display. More rewarding with repeated listens...
