Headed up by former Digable Planets MC Ishmael Butler (aka Palaceer Lazaro), Shabazz Palaces is a Seattle-based avant Hip-Hop electro outfit. If Bedouins herded Hip-Hop beats instead of goats and settled in Seattle instead of the Atlas Mountains, this would be their album. Like rich velvet hijabs or gold threaded abayas.
