In observance of his 20th year anniversary of first blessing the masses with sound on wax, PB Wolf has dug deep in the closet to unearth his baby loco beginnings in San Jo, a stones throw from the Bay. The late, great Charizma's about the only cat with any notoreity, tho Deshee & Quiz One (Wolf's MC on that inaugural disc in 89, apparently, here, flowing straight off the top), flow pretty pro as well. This' the sound of the Golden Era, filtered through some young guns who were feeling, and channeling the inspiration of the EPMD slow flow (MC Twan) or the Yardie patois of PRT (Peace Maker), all buttressed sun'n lovely by Wolf's (peanut) buttery beats, show & provin' his jazzical aesthetic was already well formed. Fast beats abound and if there's some stumblin' tongues they only add to the charm & the flavor of the raw, grimy, bedroom studio, no mic havin', round the way rapper, pre pro tools & reason on your laptop illness.
