Long out-of-print, and fetching astronomical second-hand rates, this legit CD reissue is a welcome blessing for any fan of jarring guitar overload. Little to no information on these enigmatic Japanese titans is known, but the material contained on this release was purportedly recorded in 1977, with some material dating back to ’73. Crushing layers of fuzzed guitar, atop raucous percussion that sparked a vein of Japanese guitar mangling that runs all the way up from Fushitshusha to White Heaven to Boris. This one’s got some vocal tracks as well.
