Eastside L.A. heroes Darker My Love have coalesced from members of other, punkier or more commercially-inclined bands, into a tight, fuzz-rocking ensemble with angelic vocals that's always ready for a good freakout. Somewhere around the intersection of the 4AD/My Bloody Valentine axis with the early Pink Floyd vector field, DML sets up shop and transmits a beam of kaleidoscopic shoegaze hustle into the unknown. Gentle waves of pink light wash over an endless loop of coruscating rhythm, celestial harmony and chemical noise.
