With flawless flow, executed with flair, Blu’s smooth cadence flutters among the head-nodding dusty drums and samples of Exile’s well rounded beats. While mainstream hip-hop has abandoned the traditional path of one producer albums, this approach has proven quite successful (i.e. Murs/Ninth Wonder, Awol/Factor, Foreign Exchange) for many in the “underground” side of hip-hop. Indeed this collabo of two able artists shines a ray of hope from the heavens for hip-hoppers past, present and future.
