Boz Scaggs - Biography

Boz Scaggs is a cool white dude who plays a sort of urban styled R& B music, slick and glossy, with soul and energy- smooth and punchy rather than gritty or gruff. A mixture of Bobby Caldwell, Steely Dan, Motown, New Oeleans R&B, and rock attitude, rolled into a unique hybrid that produced such hit singles as "Lido Shuffle," "What Can I Say," "Lowdown," "Whay Do you Want The Girl To Do?" amongst others. He was a huge star in the mid 1970s, and continues to this day playing to his rather large fan base.
