My roommate took me to a house party in which the owner of the house had this insane record collection. I try to live minimally, not buying more than I need, but when I saw the amount of Salsa vinyl this guy had, I went nuts. After that night, I made it a point to try to amass a Salsa Vinyl collection bigger than the one I saw at the party. I guess I had Salsa envy. Thus began the Salsa Arms Race.
