Bon Iver Premieres New Song "Heavenly Father" From Zach Braff Film

Posted by Billy Gil, June 30, 2014 03:11pm | Post a Comment

Bon Iver has a new song on the soundtrack to the upcoming Zach Braff film Wish I Was Here called “So Now What,” and you can stream the ghostly electro-folk number on NPR.

You may recall Zach Braff had a huge soundtrack hit for Garden State back in the day, in which manic pixie dream girl extreme Natalie Portman told Braff The Shins would change his life. Guess they did, ’cause this new soundtrack will also feature a new song by The Shins called “So Now What” that was premiered earlier; you can stream that here.

The soundtrack to Wish I Was Here is due July 15 on CD, digitally and Aug. 5 on vinyl from Columbia. The movie is out in theaters July 18.

Youtube asked us to create a playlist of our favorite music of 2011. That's a pretty big task given how much music we all loved this year. We tried to keep it as close to 20 videos as we could (but we ended up with the random number of 22 faves). Check out our little intro video and then dive into our playlist...
