Meta P “Kill Swag (feat. Celph Titled)" (2013)
The last time the Amoeblog caught up with Rhode Island emcee Meta P was last summer when he did an interview with us on the heartfelt, moving song and video "Dragonfly" that he wrote about the sudden death of his twin sister. The artist, whose style is much more varied that "Dragonfly" and "Kill Swag feat. Celph Titled" (the Tyler Dibasio animation above), has also appeared on tracks with such artists as Apathy and DJ Doo Wop.
Hayze "Life Is Hell" (2013)
Above is the brand new video for the song "Life Is Hell" from hip-hop newcomer Hayze out of New London, Connecticut who is down with Demigodz crew's Apathy who collaborated with him on the above song/video. The young artist released his new mixtape The Smoker’s Section (released a couple of weeks ago) features the above track which is also a single and, according to the artist, "is about how life is hard all the time but you gotta keep it pushing." True dat!

Of the video, which was directed by Daghe with assistance from Chito Floriano, the artist said that, "We wanted to showcase all the different aspects of the Bay Area, to show off the area's diversity. I feel like its so hard to translate the Bay Area experience, so we tried our best to showcase our perspective."
Kyle Rapps “Bodies In The Trunk” (2013)
After just last month dropping off his new visual with Action Bronson for "Get It In," rising rapper Kyle Rapps returns with another release that is also to be featured on his forthcoming SUB mixtape. This time around, as per the title's suggestion, Rapps rides around town with a body in the trunk, as the female is then brought back to life in odd fashion towards the end of the piece.
Don V. "Harlem Shake Rap" (2013)
No the "Harlem Shake" craze has not quite passed its peak just yet. Don V. who was featured here on the Amoeblog recently right before the Super Bowl when we featured his 49ers rap that was modeled on a Kendrick Lamar hit is back with another popular song inspired rap. This time the San Francisco rapper (along with his video making brother) have done their new rap song based on the current YouTube "Harlem Shake" craze. Many of his same friends who were featured in his last video are seen here doing some crazy dance moves.
